Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel has condemned the capture by U.S. forces of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, calling it an act of state terrorism and a criminal assault, and accusing Washington of kidnapping a legitimate president sovereignly elected by his people.
